10 of my photographs have been selected by jury for Blue Sky’s Pacific Northwest Photography Viewing Drawers. Blue Sky Gallery is one of the premier photography venues in the Pacific Northwest, located at 122 NW 8th Avenue, Portland, OR 97209. This work will be available for viewing in the Flat Files from 4/2013 until 3/2014.
Two of my photographs from the “36 Views of Mount Rainier” series have been accepted into the PCNW 16th Annual. This exhibition titled “Aground” was juried by Karen Irvine, Curator, Museum of Contemporary Photography, Chicago. The opening is on August 5, 2011. />
This photograph is one from my series called “Stuffed Heads”. It has been selected by juror, Crista Dix, to be in the Photo Center NW 15th Annual Members exhibition. The exhibition opens on December 3, 2010. The photograph was taken in Powell, Wyoming.
Sam Abell and I had a “cowboy drink”, a shot of Four Roses Whiskey here in Meeteetse, Wy. It was a good day. If I never make a good picture, the friends and experiences that photography has brought to me is enough.
