The Hotel Almira, Almira, WA is on Highway 2. It is an old hotel that is being lovingly restored by Todd Starkenburg. He graciously allowed me to photograph his project. Third floor room — a vision of longing, loneliness and forgotten memories in the dusty afternoon sunlight.
This image was taken at the Fremont Sunday Market. You may recognize the “R” from the old Rainier brewery. I was charmed by the white cloud.
