This photograph is one from my series called “Stuffed Heads”. It has been selected by juror, Crista Dix, to be in the Photo Center NW 15th Annual Members exhibition.
The exhibition opens on December 3, 2010. The photograph was taken in Powell, Wyoming.
Nice stuff you have here, Larry. I really like your site. DAVE STEWART
Dec. 3rd, I’ll be there!

Another entry in the photographic series, “36 Views of Mount Rainier”.
I really like the juxtaposition of the arrows and the fact that the mountain itself is hard to find. very nice!
fantastic image! I love all of the subtle details and the portrayal of reality in such a timeless and simple manner! Well done!
Wonderful image. Just down the street from a place I lived when I first moved there. I just love the concept of this series. When my wife and I lived there, we lived in a couple places where we could see just a tip or edge the space needle. We took to calling it “our little friend” and point out when we anywhere in town and it was peeking up over some neighborhood. I could have done a series with that, too. And of course, the mountain is that writ large.

is it the only frame??? i wish i could see the one after that (hoping that you would shift to your right… this way the guy in the stripped shirt disappears behind the head on the foreground, revealing more of a horse and cowboy that are now hidden). love the rhythm and the silhouettes of the riders on the back!lp
I reallly dislike these macho bastards in general. Really enjoy the Mt. Rainier Series
and alot of other works great job.

Eric - Ooh, that’s really good. I like all the couplets (and triplets). Excellent micro-composition, perfect lighting, and just a beautiful photograph.
Lioubov - i like the tension and controversy – color/contrast/size/lighting… would one notice the mountain weren’t it for the title?.. it makes one think about the reality we have created… i do feel that this one is a strong addition to the series
